According to The Hollywood Reporter, there is a new big screen adaptation of George Orwell’s 1984. You don’t know how stoked this makes me. I am in the midst of reading it for the first time, and it’s exploding my mind. I hope they don’t eff this up like so many page-to-screen translations.
Ron Howard‘s production company, Imagine Entertainment, is attached to headline the adaptation. Shepard Fairey, best known for the infamous Obama “Hope” poster, has been playing an important role in getting this dystopian ball rolling.
