The Great Gatsby or only The Decent Gatsby?

I’ve liked most of what Baz Luhrmann has done.  It’s weird but, to me, enjoyable.  Leonardo DiCaprio is hit and miss, but lately I feel like he’s been hitting.  Carey Mulligan is one of my favorite female actors, especially after her spin in Never Let Me Go.  So, I’m pretty stoked for The Great Gatsby to hit the silver screen because I really enjoy the book.  It’s classic.  Duh.  After watching this trailer, I’m still stoked for it.  The dialogue seems a little wack, but the visuals are delicious.  Will I be seeing this in 3D though? Only time will tell.

How do you think this looks?  Be honest.

Menagerie

A few posters I dig for a cacophony of movies:  The Prestige, Gattaca (a personal guilty pleasure), The Wizard of Oz, Never Let Me Go, The Village.

Drive

Here are a few of my favorite posters from Drive.  I liked this movie, but it wasn’t my fav.  Ryan Gosling was a badass.  Plus, there’s always Carey Mulligan, which never hurts.  Did you like this movie?
