“The Miserable Ones.” or “Orphans & Criminals Dance A Jig, Do A Song.”

LES MISERABLES

I liked the first movie with the ever so classic Liam Neeson & (actually talented) Geoffrey Rush. But there’s just something about Uma Thurman I cannot stand. She’s obnoxious beyond all reason.

The 1998 version was watchable… in 1998.  it always felt like there was something missing.

There’s just something about orphans & prisoners & factory workers that screams the need for a little song & dance.

I’m stoked because I’ve never been able to see the musical & as a theatre person, that’s kinda inexcusable. =)

& I can’t help but be a little jealous of the epicness of Hugh Jackman‘s bearded glory.

The cast list for this year’s adaptation is ridiculous.

Hugh Jackman, Anne Hathaway, Amanda SeyfriedRussell CroweEddie Redmayne, Sacha Baron Cohen, & Helena Bonham Carter.

Give a quick look at the teaser trailer below & let me know what you think! (Or don’t.)
